Hi! How is everyone! This has been a busy week for me but I still found time to sit down and watch the Olympics.
They are my favorite sporting event. I love how the Olympics have a spirit that world championships and other multi sporting events can't duplicate. The first Olympics I remember was in 1992 Spain. Than 4 years later got to see the Olympic touch when it was brought through my hometown for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. I also remember that the USA women's gymnastic team won team gold. Such a rich tradition and culture.
Anyways hope everyone has a gold week and is enjoying in the Olympics in London.

4th of July
Today we celebrated the 4th of July why this was a quite holiday since it fell midweek.
When I was a child we used to watch the fireworks from my house and light sparklers and some other things. This year my town banned all fireworks even the sparklers. It felt odd but I guess that the weather to dry this year. We did however mange to have a good day. I heard that many states and towns put bans on fireworks this year. Though for me sparklers have always been 4th of July tradition.
I am hopping next year we have B better weather so that we can safely have fireworks next year
